Good subjects
A strong proposal starts with a specific reader question and offers a clear explanation or useful set of choices. We welcome object histories, material comparisons, low-risk care and mending, and small projects that do not depend on specialist equipment.
What to include
Tell us the proposed angle, what a reader will understand or be able to do, the likely scope, and why you are equipped to explain it. Flag any safety concerns, uncertain claims or commercial interests. A short outline is more useful than a polished full draft.
